In addition to these outdoor ads, we also created three stories that would be posted on Solo Stove's Instagram story, this time focusing on the "Less Smoke, More ___" tagline.
The biggest selling point of the Solo Stove, in our eyes, is their unique “airflow” design that prevents smoke coming from the fire, ergo, “less smoke.” I figured that, to make an interesting out-of-home campaign, we could leverage a sign commonly seen in many places - the “no smoking” sign.
The aim with the radio ads, on the other hand, was to use good sound design to paint a vivid picture, and just generally have a sort of “laid back” feeling, like you’re relaxing around the fire.
